What salt pools actually need weekly

Salt chlorine generation naturally pushes pH up, so salt pools need acid more consistently than chlorine pools — one of the most common reasons a neglected salt pool ends up with scaled tile and cloudy water.

We verify salt level, check the cell's output and inspect for scale on the plates, plus run the same full weekly checklist every other pool gets: vacuum, brush, tile, skim, baskets, filter.

Cell cleaning and replacement

Calcium builds on the cell plates and slowly chokes off chlorine production. Long before the system throws an error, output has already dropped and chlorine has been low for weeks.

We clean cells on a schedule appropriate for your water — acid bath, plates inspected, output verified afterwards. Cell cleaning is billed as an add-on service and quoted before the work. When a cell is genuinely at end of life we will say so rather than keep cleaning a dead one.
